Our tour takes us on a magical journey through the North of Ireland and across the Irish Sea to Scotland where we explore celtic mythology, take in breath-taking scenery, visit ancient monuments, taste authentic Scottish and Irish cuisine and of course enjoy the best of Celtic music along the way. Places of interest we'll visit on this trio include Navan Fort, The Ulster Americian Folk Park, Bushmills Distillery and The Giants Causeway, The Titanic Experience, Loch Lomond and Glencoe, Glenfinnan Monument, the Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Leault Working Sheepdog Farm and Edinburgh.

Trip Itinerary

DAY 1 - Pick Up 11am
Meet in Dublin Airport at 11am. Once we’ve our luggage loaded we’ll make our way North to Co. Armagh. On our first stop off of the tour we’ll experience life over 2000 years ago, as you walk in the footsteps of warriors to the ancient Navan Fort, site of the great temple of 95BC. Your guide will explain how and why this impressive ceremonial structure was built, as well as highlighting the importance of the surrounding sites in the Navan complex. Immerse yourself in Iron Age life, as you meet the resident Celtic clan & view their period dwelling! During your visit, you may find the Celts regaling you with stories of their past triumphs, cooking, weaving or even preparing their weaponry for battle. It’s then off to our hotel for the night where we’ll enjoy the first of many music sessions.
DAY 2 - Pick up 10am
Today we pay a visit to The Ulster American Folk Park just outside the town of Omagh, Co. Tyrone. We’ll embark on a journey back in time from the Old World of Ulster to the New World on the American frontier. Your favourite stories and objects are waiting for you. From here we make our way to the historic City of Derry where we’ll enjoy more music and learn more about the history of this beautiful walled city.
DAY 3 - Pick Up 10.00 AM
This morning we’ll be joined by a local guide who is going to take us on a guided tour of Derry’s historic walls. We’ll learn all about the history from the 1600’s right up to the recent past and Derry’s role in the modern day ‘Troubles’. From here we make our way along the North Coast stopping to visit the Bushmills Distillery and the Giants Causeway, a UNESCO world heritage site.
DAY 4 - Pick Up 10.00am
After breakfast we load up and make our way into Belfast City. We’ll pay a visit to the Titanic Experience and learn all about the history of the Belfast ship building industry, the building of the Titanic in Belfast. We’ll also pay a visit to the famous Lowden Guitar factory on the outskirts of Belfast, a must for all guitar lovers. See how these beautiful, world famous guitars are made and the history behind them. As always there’ll be music to enjoy in some of Belfast’s amazing music venues.
DAY 5 - Pick Up 9.30AM
Today we take a ferry across the Irish Sea to Scotland. The crossing is approx 2hrs 15mins and departs at 11.30am. Once we land in Scotland we’ll make our way to the town of Ayr arriving approx 4pm where we’ll take the evening to relax and enjoy some music.
DAY 6 - Pick Up 10.00am
Today, we take the high road to Fort William, a city nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland’s tallest peak. Along the way, we’ll stop of at the famous Loch Lomond to take in the stunning scenery, and also at Glencoe, the scene of the famous battle between the McDonald and Campbell clans in 1692. After a dram or two of the local whiskey, we’ll continue to Fort William.
DAY 7 - Pick Up 10.00am
Today we leave Fort William and travel north to the Isle of Skye. The largest of the Inner Hebrides Islands, the Isle of Skye has a very rich history. Soon to be famous for its upcoming role in a Game of Thrones prequel series, the Isle of Skye features a history of clan warfare, the Highland Clearances and the infamous Bonnie Prince Charlie. The MacDonald and MacLeod Clans have their castles on the island. While we’re there, we’ll pay a visit while taking the time to properly sample the local whiskey.
DAY 8 - Pick up 10.00am
Today we make our way to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. On our way, we’ll be stopping off for a tour of Loch Ness. Famous for its legendary monster, we’ll take a cruise along this famous Loch taking in the beauty, stopping at Urquhart Castle and possibly singing a few songs.
Day 9 - Pick up 9.30am
Today we leave Inverness and head south to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. We’ll stop off for an amazing experience at Leault Farm, taking 90 minutes to learn about their working sheepdog farm with an incredible demonstration. Once comfortably situated in your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore this wonderful city.
Day 10 - Pick up 9.30am
Today is your day to explore the hidden wonders of Edinburgh. Feel free to sleep in for the morning, go shopping, go drinking, – just make sure that you’re doing whatever you want to be doing. Edinburgh has endless hidden treasures to explore at your leisure.
DAY 11 - Pick up 9.30am
Unfortunately, all things must come to an end. This morning we’ll drop off at Edinburgh Airport and go our separate ways.
